My Story
Sebastian is 21 years old and swam for almost 13 years, starting when he was eight years old. From different clubs around LA, high school swim, zones teams, to college practices, he's been in almost every facet of the sport. His best events were the 100 and 200 breast, but his favorite race to swim was always the 200 IM. He's been a lifeguard for 3 years, learning how to keep everyone safe around the pool. That job also allowed him to begin teaching people to swim, from 3-year-olds to adults.

His reason for coaching stems from a love of the sport. Not only does he feel he has so much to learn from the sport, but he also has so much to still give to the sport past his own career in the water. As a former Paseo swimmer, he learned that it’s not talent that makes a great athlete, but the consistency to show up every day and put in the work that creates a great person. He would like to instill that mindset into the athletes he coaches, in hopes that they bring some of the mental strength they garner in the pool to their lives.
