Keys to Great Swimming

  1. Consistent Training: Prioritize attendance, focus, and effort.

  2. Recovery: Ensure adequate rest, incorporate stretching, and maintain proper nutrition.

  3. Awareness: Recognize strengths and weaknesses, and work on specific areas for improvement.

  4. Motivation: Identify sources of inspiration and purpose.

  5. Embrace "Failures" as Opportunities: Learn from setbacks and strive for continuous improvement.

  6. Know Your Best Times: Understand personal records to gauge progress accurately.

The Impact of Sleep Deprivation

Sleep deprivation can significantly affect athletic performance, leading to decreased energy, impaired decision-making, and hormonal imbalances. Prioritize rest and recovery for optimal performance.

Hydration Tips

Proper hydration is essential for optimal performance. Ensure adequate fluid intake throughout the day, especially during training sessions.
